It is so important to me that you feel challenged but not out of your depth in my classes. I want you to feel stronger when you leave, and to take with you what you have learnt into your everyday life.

I’ve tried reformer Pilates before but Vanessa is in a league of her own. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable and encouraging, she is patient with beginners.Vanessa tailors each class to the individuals needs and really cares that I get it right.
She has years of experience and is never patronising or impatient despite my lack of fitness and many questions.

I took up Pilates late in life a year ago. Quite honestly, it is one of the best things I have ever done! Vanessa is a fabulous teacher putting across in easy to understand terminology, how the spine, pelvis, and whole body works. On beginning my Pilates journey, my right hip had been causing me some problems. Now, however, with my whole body stronger, it is so much better. I am also far more aware of my posture than ever before. Pilates is fantastic for mind, body, and soul. If you have never tried it. do! You will soon understand its magic!

I joined Vanessa's Mat Pilates class when I moved to the area and I am so glad I did! Now some 6 years later I have joined her Reformer class and I am enjoying it even more than the Mat classes.
Vanessa is so supportive and kind with her instructions and consistently adds new things to try which means I love the classes and have improved my form so much over the years.
I have some musculoskeletal issues and Vanessa always helps adapt the moves to our injuries so we can take care but still keep moving forwards.
